GREY WHALE SAFARI
FEBUARY-MARCH
Grey Whale/Whale Shark Expedition
Experience one of the most extraordinary wildlife encounters on the planet by meeting 40-ton gray whales and their newborn calves up close. Gray whales, known for their incredible migration from Arctic feeding grounds to warm breeding lagoons, often approach our boats, inviting visitors to scratch their heads, backs, and baleen while they and their calves relax nearby.
But the adventure doesn’t stop there. We also offer breathtaking opportunities to snorkel with the gentle giants of the ocean: the whale sharks. These magnificent creatures, the largest fish in the sea, glide gracefully through the water as you swim alongside them, marveling at their sheer size and serene presence.
In addition to whale sharks, you'll have the chance to explore lively sea lion colonies. These playful animals are known for their curious nature and acrobatic displays. Join them in their natural habitat and experience their energetic underwater antics up close.
This adventure takes us to small Mexican villages, where we join local families and their pangas to witness these magnificent marine animals. These intimate interactions with gray whales, whale sharks, and sea lions, combined with the cultural immersion in local communities, make for a truly unique and memorable whale watching tour.
